Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles is a non profit 501(c)3, no kill rescue committed to saving all types of German Shepherd Dogs from high kill shelters and adopting them to loving, qualified homes.

Abe von Augsburg

Abe von Augsburg is a beautiful 2 year old Husky mix. This happy boy of a medium size has a tail that doesn’t stop wagging. Abe is excited to do pretty much anything. He loves going out on his walks and exits his kennel with enthusiasm about seeing and smelling the world outside. Once Abe gets going at a good pace, he settles down and walks pretty well on the leash. Abe is quite social; his sunny personality is infectious as anyone who meets him can’t help but smile. Around other dogs, Abe is all about looking for someone to play with. He can be a little overwhelming for more serious dogs, but Abe knows to back off after a warning. A pleasing pup so full of life like Abe will fit well in many active homes. What Abe really wants is someone who loves the outside as much as he does -- hikes, trips to the beach, urban mushing -- Abe can’t wait to do it all. He’d also really enjoy having a playmate, someone with a similar friendly personality and the spirit to keep up the play all afternoon and then some.
